Blueberries and almonds go really well together. This stove-top method of making a cobbler is easy enough for pre-teens to make, and healthy enough to serve as a snack.
Here is a photo gallery of one-day event I catered at Stillheart Retreat Center. I only wish I could have also participated in the program — Phyllis and Laurie were fabulous to work with, and everyone had such glowing faces throughout the day — nourished by the workshop and the food.
I deconstructed the “Fruit Soup” (that I created for Intel cooking demo) and made these “Fruit Kabobs” instead (i.e. they have the same ingredients as the Fruit Soup). Will serve these this Saturday at Atherton Appliance cooking demo, at July 4th backyard party and again at a catering gig Tuesday evening for the Nightcrawlers in Los Altos.
