South Bay Raw … a MeetUp group

South Bay Raw is a group of 387 people (as of this post on 5/28/11) who want to meet up with others who are eating raw, living the raw lifestyle.

We share and learn with each other. We look for and give guidance with each other. Some members are like myself, looking for ways to bring raw food into our diets, others are doing a “raw vegan” diet eating a variety of whole foods and processed foods (with the fermentation, sprouting, blending and dehydrating). Some members are ‘high raw’ – eating whole foods with very little processing.

We have a monthly potluck – the 3rd Sunday of each month and often times have guest speakers and/or themed topic. We also have various events/activities throughout the month.

I'm demonstrating my Breville juice machine. I also demonstrated the Norwalk Juice Machine, Champion Juicer and other members demonstrated their Green Star Twin Gear, Oster. There were other juice machines but we ran out of time to test every one of them.
Jordan, our youngest SBRF member (15 years old), brings her own pie creations's another good tasting pie with a "jungle peanut" filling.
