Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs are getting more and more popular and more and more accessible. And my goal is to show the ease and wonderfulness of cooking with the foods you receive in a CSA box. Learn how to cook OUTSIDE THE BOX with the food that is delivered direct from the farm to your door.

Come to these classes to see a variety of ways to use the greens, veggies, fruits that come in the box each week. I’ll introduce you to a variety of gadgets and appliances, as well as condiments, salts, spices and herb blends.

I’ve partnered with “High Ground Organics” a 40-acre organic farm located on the coast near Watsonville. They’ve planted several trees, bushes and plants, including apples, pears, blueberries, lettuces and more. Click here to read about their farm. •  Read about their CSA program here.

I’ll be cooking with produce

packaged in a “CSA box” from High Ground Organics

Come see how I create a recipe,

create a menu – on the spot.

These events are improv cooking classes, meaning that I create new recipes based on the food that is delivered the same week as the class. This is a great opportunity for you to see how to create healthy and tasty recipes – on the spot, using the ingredients from the box, in your pantry and spice drawer.
Location: private home in Cupertino with 10-person kitchen
In these classes, I will share info such as:
  • how to create your own recipe
  • how to build flavors
  • food storage
  • anatomy of food
  • alchemy of cooking
  • tips and tricks for healthy cooking
  • and so much more
Bring your questions, bring friends/family. Invite others who you think will be interested in learning about the CSA program and/or how to cook healthfully and easily.
