Chef Joni has a reputation as a ‘practical’ culinary instructor for the home chef. Everyone — no matter your degree of comfort in the kitchen — will be entertained and go home with inspiration from Joni’s ability to see what and where people are and their next step.

This is a unique opportunity to learn healthy cooking from Joni Sare, an experienced therapeutic chef who was trained in Nutrition and Culinary Arts at Bauman College in Berkeley, California. Her passion is to teach people how to create a meal that is healthy and tasty to keep your mind and body performing at its best.

During this social and educational class, we will learn about vegetables, including tips & tricks for storage, preparation, cooking and most importantly of all- how to enjoy eating them! We will work in teams and Joni will teach preparation and cooking techniques throughout the class.

Afterward, we will enjoy our meal and socialize outdoors in the shady garden with waterfall, if weather permits.

Menu:

Lentil and quinoa salad that includes veggies, sliced apple, dried cherries and/or fresh red grapes, chopped pecans and chicken breast.

Vegetable soup blended with water and/or coconut milk, a bit of butter and/or coconut oil

What to bring: wear comfortable shoes, closed-toed shoes is best. Optional: bring chef knife and cutting board. Optional: bring apron, I have 5 for folks who want to wear them, totally optional.
