10:30am – 12:30pm

NOTE: Please join us before the workshop for the 9am -10:15am yoga class with Nancy. For those of you who are coming for just the workshop, then you’ll gather together outside the studio until the yoga class is over, thank you.

Location: Windbell Wellness Center, 1924 Oak Park Blvd, Suite A, Pleasant Hill, CA

Talking points include:

  • signs
  • symptoms
  • pro-inflammatory foods
  • anti-inflammatory foods
  • healthy cooking and eating techniques

Foods I’ll share in class are:   (I’ll make these items next door at “The Fig Tree” before class, and will have taste samples for everyone.)

  • Fruit Soup: Cantaloupe, red bell pepper, cucumber and almond milk, cinnamon and balsamic vinegar
  • Savory: Sauteed mustard greens and chard w/prepared mustard, rice vinegar and toasted walnut oil
  • Sweet, yet balanced: Protein bars w/almonds, sunflower seeds, dates, whey protein powder and ‘blueberry pomegranate electrolyte powder’
